Great all rounder

I love this drum, it's the second one I've had as I wore the first one out. Unusually perhaps - I use this drum for folk music dancing and sessions, I find it's not too big or heavy, the sound is fairly soft but carries well, and it's very versatile. In a musical environment of many bodhrans, this drum certainly stands out, who needs a stick!

Great sounding drum, the skin can be better or worse depending on the drum, as it's natural. Good for playing in an upright position, good tuning system, the edge is sharp and may not be the best for long practice, would be perfect if it would have a rounded edge.
