Ich hab aufgrund der Änderung der Stilart die ich jetzt mache (Indie-Rock-Pop) einen neuen Beckensound gesucht, und mit diesem Becken zu 100% gefunden!
Das Becken hat einen schönen Grundsound, der sich wunderbar durchsetzt. Gerade in Clubs und kleinen Locations perfekt für die "Nichtmikrofonierungs-Situation" geeignet. Für etwas ruhigere Songpassagen kann man das Byzance Medium Crash auch perfekt als Ride-Ersatz nutzen (Super Bell Sound). In diesem Sinne absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Wer sich hierfür entscheidet kann grundsätzlich nichts verkehrt machen. Die hohe Qualität der Becken steht für mich außer Frage. Die traditional Ausführung hat nicht diese beißenden Höhen, ist für mich angenehmer und stilistisch auch vielseitiger einsetzbar.
Nachdem ich das medium thin, medium, sand medium und heavy Crash miteinander verglichen habe, war das medium am ausgewogendsten. Mein Eindruck war auch, dass das medium vom Material her sogar dünner als das medium thin ist. Jedenfalls war die Anprache auch beim Meduim etwas schneller.
