I use it for busking, on the streets, for concerts on the stage.
has a good sound, can be mic-ed very nicely.
It is very durable.

This is fantastic! Great for use alongside a cajon. I'm a kit drummer so found it a bit frustrating not to be able to make full use of my feet when using a cajon.
There are electronic options, but those are not so convenient. The Meinl BassBox makes a great sound - especially when miked/recorded - without being very loud.

I’ve been using this little bass drum on the streets for a couple of years. It’s a very portable, space efficient and cost effective instrument.
It’s reliable and emulates a bass drum well. It occasionally creeps away while I’m playing but this can be solved a number of ways. Bungee chord or heavy bag fixes it. I’m very happy with my purchase.

It's compact and with a microphone in front of it, it is an excellent replacement for a kick drum. The rod though broke in half last night in the middle of my set which sucked.
