Der Einsatzbereich geht natürlich über die Kuhglocke hinaus – bei mir ist ein Tambourine montiert.

Die Verarbeitung ist top, mittels der zwei mitgelieferten L-Stücke auch hinreichend flexibel einsetzbar und m.E. ausreichend stabil. Die beiden gummierten Füße lassen den PM-1 fest auf glatten Böden stehen und für raue Untergründe wie Straßen, lässt sich jeweils noch ein Metalldorn herauschrauben. Auch hier ist also unverrückbaren Stand gewährleistet (der dafür nötige Inbusschlüssel liegt bei).

Ich bin zwar weder Schlagzeuger noch befasse ich mich ansonsten mit Percussion, aber in der Fußgängerzone tippe ich jetzt nicht mehr mehr oder weniger lautlos den Takt mit, sondern bringe es Jedermann (- und frau) gut zu Gehör. Macht Laune und stellt eine echte Bereicherung dar (ist aber zusammen mit dem nötigen Fußpedal bei Ortswechseln etwas schwer und unhandlich).

Durch die unterschiedlich langen Haltebügel kann man Cowbells unterschielicher Größe einfach montieren und ohne Verstellung der Beaterlänge sofort den passenden Aufschlagpunkt treffen. Beinahe hätte ich allerdings im Eifer des Gefechts den Moosgummi-Schoner für die Pedalaufnahme übersehen, der ab Werk nur beigelegt, aber nicht aufgeklebt ist.
