Lovely sound, the ability to toggle on/off snare wires is amazing

It's like having two wildly different percussion instruments in one. With the snare wires off the sound is much more like that of the cajons of traditional afro-peruvian music like the Landó, and with them on it's the more modern/contemporary cajon sound. It has a warm, deep bass (especially with the snare strings off) and good response on the high end too.
