You only use this for low-budget equipment, when you want to store it, when you got no money for a thicker padded bag, when you use it as a cover to put it in a larger bag or case, or when you use it as an utility bag.
That's the versatile part of this bag: you can also use it as a common bag to throw all kinds of other stuff in, even when it has nothing to do with musical gear.
Personally: I use this bag for a little round stage fan that fits right into it.

It will also hold a light rain outside for a short amount of time.
I gave it one star less for not having a shoulder strap, but for the price, this is an excellent offer. You won't find it much cheaper anywhere.

Perfect for storage
I bought this classic soft case purely for storing my drums away. There's not a whole lot of padding in them, but that's fine for what I need them for. Absolutely perfect and well worth the money!

Surprisingly Durable for the Price
I bought myself a set of these for my road kit. The padding is sufficient to protect your shells from small falls, the zippers don't catch stupidly on anything, and the handles are in pretty convenient locations.
If you need a good, cheap solution for transporting your drums, these cases are great. No complaints from me about them.

A great gig bag
This really is a great gig bag. I have a complete set of other manufacturers gig bags (a brand name), and I am, for now, more satisfied with this one. The padding is more than adequate for some moderate use if you don't expect to go touring with your set.
Some users might prefer a shoulder strap, but I have found that the handle this bag employs works better for me. It is much easier to maneuver the bags in tight places. Furthermore the handle is really nicely padded so it does not hurt your palms.
Inner padding lining could be a bit stronger - it looks somewhat thin and easy to tear so you should take care when inserting your drums.

You won't find anything better at this price
These definetely aren't the best cases or the more resistant, but you won't find anything even close to this price that does the job.
Of course these are not for heavy touring and can't protect your drums from hard hits, but if you need just a small protection for your drums to avoid scratches and stuff like that or to simply store your drums keeping them clean these are perfect.

Low Price, does what it says on the can!
10" tom add-on for the full Millennium Drum Kit Case set - very reasonable price, good padding and a sturdy zip - just as good as branded bags sold for a lot more money :)
