Does a decent job....

This is an effective additional cymbal arm - once you have it in place. But it is rather tricky to get the main joint to behave if you want to make the lower boom arm quite long. I also get a bit frustrated with the upper boom arm when trying to move it through the elbow joint. It's quite heavy and the hatching is sharp and very grippy so doesn't slide through the joint very easily. Overall finish of the metal isn't top-drawer, but it doesn't look out of place amongst quality hardware.

But it is a great price and once it's in place it's solid, so I'm happy with it.

Good product but with a flaw
Sanches 04.05.2019
So this boom arm is pretty good for the price, it's sturdy and light, finishing looks and feels very cheap, but it holds the cymbal. The problem is that the outer pipe has no grip to it, so if you use something like a 16" crash or even a 20" ride, it will move because of the lack of grip depending on the position you're using it.

Exactly what you'd expect for the price.

I'm using a couple of these boom arms for splashes. They do their job for the most part. Screws need to be tightened rather often, but as long as you don't put anything heavy on you should be fine.

Go for something else
Bogodrummer 27.08.2020
Go for something else if you wanna place a cymbal on it! It is alright just to set it up and use noting on it, otherwise... it is not fixed, it moves around and it is, overall, unstable.

Heavy duty stand but poor clamp.
morbidguitar 08.06.2018
Heavy duty, polished chrome add-on stand for cymbal. The included attachment bracket is the only flaw, as it cannot be fully tightened, and will remain loose no matter what, allowing the cymbal to move and fall. Good for beginner drumset. The telescopic part of the stand is great quality.

Good for it's price

The Millenium CBC-Set 03 is the cheapest cymbal boom arm with clamp in Thomann. It looks like a very strong and very stable cymbal boom arm, altough it doesn't exacly correspond to reality. It is very easy to set up, but it constantly moves out of place, due to it's weaker lock system, not that it is not good for it's price, but I believe it is worth spending a little more in a boom arm if it is intended to save money. The sleeve, wing nut and the cymbal felts were great.
For it's price, it is good. Thank you thomann and the millenium department for this product.

Good for the price

This cymbal mount is ok for the money, but thats because its dirt cheap. For small/lightweight cymbals id gets the job done. I have it for almost a month and it hasnt caused any problems. However, a similar millenium boom arm tents to get lose and is a bit of a pain. Honestly if you have only one splash cymbal its sufficient, but the more expensive boom arms are better in the long run

A Little Light Weight
Anonymous 11.01.2015
I bought this clamp to add a small splash cymbal on to my kit. It was well priced but it would too light for a touring / pro drummer. The clamp is not very strong and it does not look as good as some of the other Millenium gear I have. Better spending a few more pounds for a heavier one.

A working simple additional stand
Peter7602 16.07.2014
It is a bit rough around the edges and hard to get perfectly rigid but works without any problems. You get a lot for the money. Unfortunately it is a 6 mm axis that holds tha cymbal which I would have preferred to have been 8 mm (since my other stands are).
