Does the work but QC should be better
If you are on the budget this DI box is just fine. I have ordered two of them, out of which one was not working with phantom power. It took a bit of re-soldering work to make it operational. Quality control, obviously, leaves much to be desired.

Saved the day!
I used this di box at a gig about 2 days after it arrived. In fact it was still in the box when one of my old di boxes began to play up in the middle of a set. A quick swap and it was in use and working a real treat. It seemed to carry a much better signal than the old one ever did. And VERY easy to get going!

Does what it is supposed to do
A nice cheap DI for the bedroom guitarist and bassist alike, does what it is supposed to do without giving a lot of money

Great for the price
I've been using one of these almost weekly (live gigs) for 6 years and it's still working perfectly. It has all the features you're likely to need, and there's very little difference in sound quality between this and my Radial DI's, certainly not enough to be relevent in a live setting.
My one criticism would be that the battery cover is very badly designed- it is infuriatingly fiddly to slot it back in properly, and the screw, which is not fixed to the cover disappeared a long time ago.

Good for the Money
I have been using this for tracking guitar and bass straight into my recording software, and it has significantly improved the sound of my recordings. Perfect for starting out with, as it's easy to use, and is not too pricey at all.
It may be slightly simple for someone with a more advanced understanding of recording. If you can afford it, get something more pricey, but this thing is perfect for beginners.

Nice tool that can save your life on stage
This is an easy and simple DI box that must be in your bag while gigging.
This is a compact, light and can be powered by using phantom power or battery, which is a really handy feature (and safe if for some reason the +48 goes down). Highly recommended!

Could be better for the price.
I keep this in my case for the ground lift function really. Its freaked out on me a few times. It seems like its a problem with some one of the switches but when I inspect they all seem solid. TYhe pad on it is also handy but I cannot trust this piece of gear anymore as I cant figure out why it crackles uncontrollably some times.

Good cheap active DI
My ageing Behri DI-120s (purchased through Thomanns) are in need of replacement and I bought 2 DI-33s very pleased to - rugged with uncoloured sound and useful combination of ins and outs. Only has pad to -20db, -40 would be a welcome addition - however the DI-33 has disappeared from the catalogue so who knows?

Cost effective DI box
Nice cost effective Di Box. No nasty hiss or crackle's (nice and quiet), similar dimensions to a BSS AR133, so they pack well together, as well as features (XLR & Jack inputs, Pad, Phantom light, battery option. XLR output)
Durable metal body with rubber bumper feet.
