Very comfy

Well thought out throne with a drummer in mind, it seems.

The interface between the chair and the shaft of the base is dovetailed, unlike the mapex models in that price range.

The mapex chairs without the dove tail will eventually start to rock back and forth. That is just the design of the thing. Built in obsolescence to get you to buy more products.. While you can hold this rocking back and forth off on the cheaper mapex thrones by always checking tension of the screws that interface the seat and the shaft, you are only delaying this. I am only comparign this to the lower mapex chairs in the 50 to 80 pound sterling range. The cheaper ones with the spinning spindle. That interface is designed to eventually drive you mad. Spend a bit more on a chair or get this thing.

This is a really comfortable throne with a back rest for what you are paying. The motorcycle seat is not big and huge like the mapex models ( i have both a round and motorcycle mapex throne - i did that to get a feel of what is good. I opted for a motocycle style throne with a back rest).

I have a 34 inch waiste and this thing fits me fine with a bit of room to spare. "Big guys" may get different milage. If you are a "big guy", like an aaron spears big kinda guy, then this is not the chair for you. The sitting surface is not wide enough for bigger guys. In that case the better quality mapex thrones with their huge motorcycle seat might be better.

Dont be fooled by the price. This thing hits well above its price as many have mentioned.

If you are below 5 feet 6 inches then you will probably not get much use out of this. The lifting shaft bottoms out for shorter players. I am 5 feet 9 and i am almost at the bottom already with 2 or 3 inches to spare. Meaning i dont get much use out of the lift. I do get to use it but i am very close to the bottom. I play with legs nearly parallel to the ground. Just a slight downward slope.

Overall i am really happy with what i got. Really happy.

The quality/price ratio is now leading me to explore other millenium products. I was doubtful at first but not any more. If their other products are like this in terms of quality and what you get for your money then i will most likely will splat down on other things.

If i can come back and do a long term use edit then i will.

Nice look and feel
Robert883 04.01.2022
I bought this for home use for keyboard and electronic kit.
This is the first hydraulic stool ive owned and the first with a back so i have nothing to compare. However, once i managed to fit it together, it seems pretty good for the price.
The fitting, i found, was difficult as i had no instructions in the packing. I struggled to work out how the back fitted and also did realise i had to remove the red plastic thing from the hydraulic button.
Once its up, it seems comfy but to be honest i probably wouldnt want to be gigging for hours on it but thats not why i purchased it.

W
Comfortable drum stool
WillO 01.05.2022
The price was good, the quality was good, the comfort was good. I was able to sit on this stool for hours with no issues (I've since sold my drum kit and I included this in the sale). It was also a handy, comfortable stool for any other musicians that were in my studio.

I did, however, remove the back rest as I found it got in the way more than anything.

If I was to take up drumming again, I'd buy this stool again.

It does what it was made for
Jokerim 26.02.2021
It does the job very well.
It is a simple drum throne with a pneumatic adjustment, and the price, you can't go wrong with this one.
The back rest feels nice, it rotates 360, the height adjustment is super easy and the seat is also good.
The only problem is stability... if you lean back, you may find that it is not very stable.
The trick is to put one of it's feet right behind your back, so that you always have a "brake" when you lean against the back rest.
All in all, can't go wrong with this one for the price.

Good chair but it's not made for touring.
Leave it at home or in the studio.

Good but little too low for higher drummers
lindberg 05.04.2018
Overall it's a good throne, quite comfortable and stable, but a little too low for a higher (more than 180 cm) drummer.
You can't go wrong for this price.

Good throne with backrest
Cartmin 11.04.2018
Nice to lean back now and again and give the old back a rest !
Tend to get a bit of a numb backside after a couple of hours, but all in all a comfortable pneumatic saddle type throne which personally I find more comfortable than the traditional round stools.

Heavy Duty and convenient - at a cost
Anonymous 24.10.2016
This thing is great for on the gig- quick adjustments. It's also really heavy duty and well constructed.

The back rest seemed a little bit on the cheap side but I removed this right away as I didn't want it.

However the convenience of quick adjust-ability comes at the detriment of stability. While it's quite stable on the floor the stool swivels. I didn't think it was a problem at first, but then when I use a normal stool I find having the rotation fixed gives me much more stability.

The majority of drummers may not care about the swivel though, and if this is you, then I'd highly recommend. Also it's very cheap for what you get.
