Great for offset/extreme guitars.
You may be aware of another branded product very similr to this and considerably more expensive. This performs perfectly well and has served me perfectly as a home guitar stand. I have a few oddly shaped gutars which just don't fit properly on other more traditional stands so this style of hanging stand works perfectly. If you have something ike a Jazzmaster, Firebird, Explorer or even more extreme designs such as Warlocks or Vs this will be just what you need. It handles the weight of the heaviest guitars just fine and the mechanism is holding up well after a few years.
Surprisingly perhaps, stability with this style of stand is just as good as those which support the weight from the bottom.
Recommended and good value for money.

A reliable mate for my Instrument
I have bought this stand because it seemed the best solution for my Flying V, keeping the instrument safe from hitting the ground, I can confirm the structure is perfect for this purpose, considered the V guitar's shapes.
It's so handy to carry around that I can use it everywhere: at home, at rehearsal, recording studio, live gigs...I use this stand since 2 years...still safe and working.
Very good quality and secure feet, I can recommend this Millenium product, the price is very affordable!

Good!
Great stand to hold my BCRich jrV Deluxe. I've been using it a lot for around two years now and it's good as new.

Unbeatable value, couple of small negatives.
I was looking for a couple of cheap stands but decided to spend a bit more and get a locking stand too. Compared to the brand names it's obviously much cheaper (my bass player friend has an expensive "brand" locking stand). It's great quality, very stable but my only problem is that although you can make the neck retract it doesn't fold down in a way that's as compact as other models. But this really is a small problem but I transport it once or twice a week so worth mentioning.

Good Stand
When I recived the stand I thought something was wrong with it but the I mounted it and it was okay . I think this is a good stand but a bit unstable . The locking mecahnism works when you put down a guitar and with the weight of it the locking closses . But when I put my ukulele ( that is very light ) , it doesn´t close . So , I think this stand is better for acoustic and electric guitars ( or some heavier instruments ) . But when I tried it with my Gretsch it was good ! I think for the price I would prefer to buy this stand with the locking system rather than the normal one . In general is a good stand

Good for the price
I'm used to the Hercules stands. This is a copy. It is not as comfortable to use as the Hercules, but it is way cheaper. It holds an acoustic guitar well and it is stable. Would recommend if you don't need top quality and/or don't want to spend double for the Hercules.
