I haven't got much experience with sticks yet. I think these are okay-ish, but I also got better pairs for half the price, so there is room for improvement. The surface is lacquered and the heads are fine, no major burrs, but I think it still could use a little sanding with very fine sandpaper.

The sticks are very light, not really my cup of tea. Since I will be using them on mesh e-drum kit, they will be fine. I wouldn't recommend them for acoustic kit.

Low-end hickory sticks - but great for beginners.

Bought as part of Millenium's drumstick starter bundle, which is a great bundle for beginners.
The sticks aren't bad for the price.

They chip away pretty fast, but it's good to stock up on them because of the price.

Hickory sticks

Hickory sticks seem to be a good build and have a nice feeling when playing with the Ludwig breakbeat set I have, not tried them with another kit yet.
