A cheap, no-frills drum throne that can handle the road
I bought this throne because I like bicycle seats and wanted a backrest without breaking the bank. At 60 Euros I suppose it's a bargain, but it's lacking in some ways.
All of the turning parts and screws became very threaded within about 5 weeks on the road. The wingbolt that fastens the seat to the stand is almost locked in place because of the threading problem. I also have to be careful how I set it up, because if it's facing noon it leans downward, and if it's facing 6 o'clock it angles upward. Not ideal.
The backrest is easily put on or removed depending on your preference. I found it to be quite comfortable for longer gigs, but it's really about the best thing I can say about this stand.
Pros:
- Cheapest way to get a bicycle-style throne with a backrest out there
- Overall robust feeling, spindle is solid
- Backrest optional
Cons:
- Bolts and other 'connecting' hardware wear down very quickly
- Noticeable "lean" or angling of the seat depending where it's facing
- Lowest height may be too high for some players.
Not bad for the price, but it leaves me wanting more.

Good value but not great
These stools are great value but for a long session are not comfortable .Spend a bit more for the sake of comfort. I replaced mine after a short while

Millenium MDT5S-Pro Drum Throne Sattel
I bought this stool as i wanted a saddle style throne and thought id try the backrest to test the difference, with or without the backrest this stool delivers, it is much more comfortable than a round seat and compared to similar items it is bang on price, why pay for a branded item much more expensive when this does the job exactly how you'd imagine.

Good for the price
The throne is stable and comfortable enough for me, but you do notice some wobble if you lean too much to one side. The other complain I have is that this is a tall throne, and even on the lowest height setting it's roughly at the same height as my previous throne on the middle setting, so take note if you're a short person that usually plays with the lowest height possible on the throne.
