Arrived broken (due to flimsy wiring, as always)
I bought this snare to replace my old ones, which both after a few months would fire rim clicks when I was clearly hitting the mesh of the drum. This happens because one of the wires has snapped or become loose, because the wires are thin and the electronics are cheap, certainly not built to last. I was glad to be rid of this problem as I opened my new MPS-500/750 mesh pad fresh out of the box and plugged it in using the fresh inlcuded cable, to discover that it Literally already had the same problem as the ones before. I tested this in multiple of my modules and the issue carried over. Very disappointing.
To be fair, if it worked, I would be happy with it (for as long as it would last with the cheap wiring). It feels nice and very snappy to play on. A shame that they're built to fail.
