Sturdy but not that handy in cramped studio spaces
Bought two of these stands instead of the ones with the telescopic boom I already owned. They're not that practical if you want to mic a guitar cab inside an isolation box or booth; a telescopic boom would prevent the end of the boom hitting the side of the box/booth thus giving you more room to manoeuvre. These stands might work better in a live situation maybe. I like the round base of the stand though; feels sturdy and you'll be rid of those clumsy legs.

good for the price.
works pretty good, just needs more weight on the base and/or the base needs to be a little bigger.

Adequate stand
Not a bad stand if you’re using it for a small bass drum mic setup, but I bought it for using a condenser mic for podcasting, and I have to hang random things off the back to act as a counter weight.
Pros: great build quality for smaller mics
Cons: anything bigger than an SM-57 and it topples over

Ok, but has a small problem
It's nice and sturdy, but the thread on the boom arm wore away pretty fast and now needs replacement.
