Customize everything on this pedal and find the way it suits you!!!
This pedal packs really nice features and capabilities for this price point. No way I would go for some low end branded pedal, when this one does it all.
It is pretty sturdy, everything is metal, and finish is better than I expected.
But, the one thing I loved about this pedal is it's customizability. You can change the batter angle without affecting the pedal angle. You can then change the batter angle in a way it depends on pedal angle. You simply won't find this on any low end branded pedals.
I was sceptical of this product, but after reading tons of reviews of this model and PD-222, I took a chance. Did NOT regret. On first try, direct drive seemed too "direct". But, trust me... you can adjust the direct drive as well, and find a way to make it feel more "natural", like a chain driven pedal. I'm thrilled with the quality at this price point.
If you're in a hunt for double bass pedal, but you don't want to spend small fortune on it, go with me on this one, I'm sure you won't regret it. And don't panic right away, you CAN CUSTOMIZE this one, in so many ways.
And one more thing... I've seen some reviews about the slave pedal being "slow", or not reacting as main pedal. Not in my case! This one lets me do 32's reeeally easy. It does everything my old yamaha did, and much more!

So far so good
It seems to be the best option from the cheap double bass pedals with a direct drive. I'll be testing it extensively to see how durable it is.

100% satisfaction for 50% of cost
Simply amazing…. Its real value for money…. Want to have the first experience in direct drive double bass pedal, but budget is tight??... This is the solution.
Its well built. So many adjustment options which you might not find in a kick pedal of this price range.

Ridiculous for the price
While I am not really a drummer (so my expectations from drumming gear may be a little too basic), but wife and I could not fault this pedal in any way (and definitely not for the price paid for a direct drive double pedal!). One note though is that I bought it for use with wifey's Strike kit so just in case that actually is a major factor in my review, I am putting it out there. Wife is happy with it and so far we have used it for a few months and nothing came loose or made any noises. Did I mention how quiet and smooth it is compared to chain driven pedals?

Solid and reliable BD Pedal with loads adjustment options. Once adjusted, there will be no need for readjustment for moths.

Great budget option!
I bought these pedals to replace my DW 2000 pedals as they have gotten old and I did not care enough for them in the past...
I also really wanted to try out direct drive pedals for the first time and I have been pleasantly surprised with these pedals!
There are a lot of options for customization to cater to your needs as well which really did surprise me considering the price.
It really is nice having smooth and consistent double pedals for a change.
