Sorry bro
I've had this stand for 2 months now, and sure, it's handy. But not fit for a lot of transport. The screws that tighten the plate to hold the plate, that mounts on the samplepad, are very weak. Because the stand didn't fit in my hardware case and I use it every week with rehearsel, I had it in my car. The plate, spring and a screw are now gone...
If you're very carefull with it, or put it up just once: then it's the hardware you need!

If its for Yamaha DTX, Never recommended.
We bought it for Yamaha DTX Multi 12 pad.
But its not really user friendly when it comes for the DTX console. Handling isn't bit easy and if not tightened really really hard, it goes does very easily. Need to do proper weight trainings for hands to work on these
