Very good choice for practice
Fitted to a very cheap bass drum for a practice kit.
There's a lot of give in this material as its a very large diameter, so I did have to crank the skin to high tension. But after doing this and after stretching the head felt good and very similar to my acoustic head.
It's very very quiet, to the point where my bandmates were getting thrown because they couldn't hear the bass drum. I stuck on a small patch made from a yoga mat and now it has a decent but not loud thwack when the beater hits the skin.
Fundamentally thoug, no more moaning neighbors, yet still a great feel!

As good as silent stroke.
I use this head for night practice on the kit. I had been using a remo silent stroke before and for me there is not much of a difference in them. On the plus side it is cheap and considerably quietens your drums. No real negatives.
