Upgrading the potentiometers in any guitar can have big influence on sound (by my experiences and ear). Using quality potentiometers is essential or much desired.

Mojotone CTS potentiometers are one of the best CTS versions available. Precisely made with use of quality components.

Friction of Mojotone potentiometer is a bit soft, but not too soft.

It's just quality all around, from the body to the brass shaft to the smooth operation.
I've bought many pots throughout the years and never had one give me that hummmm this is noice feeling like these ones did.
Makes me want to lose my mind and redo the electronics of all my guitars.
Hello bankruptcy my old friend....
