Un son d'enfer, mais les réglages aussi...
Une pédale MXR, c'est souvent un gage de qualité. C'est encore le cas ici.
Le son est vraiment au top, les réglages très complets. On peut vraiment jouer sur une tonne de paramètres avec pas (trop) de boutons.
Cependant, lesdits réglages sont assez sensibles, trop en fait, et changent d'une basse à l'autre en fonction de son niveau de sortie. Il est donc parfois compliqué de retrouver un réglage qui nous plaisait.
Ceci étant dit, avec 1 seule basse, j'adore cet enveloppe filter!

I like it more than the Aguilar
I prefer this to the Aguilar filter twin, I have both. This gives me more of the "quack" envelope sound. Very funky. I can't get the same sound out of the Aguilar. Lots of options for shaping the sound.

It's a very nice autowah pedal. The dry and wet knobs allow you to mix the wah sound with the dry signal, allowing you to have your wah tone but still cutting through the mix with your dry signal.
Although at first I thought there were more sonic possibilities, the wah sound of this pedal is still very nice, but I just messed with it for 15minutes to found the best tone for me and since, I haven't changed it. The presets that come with the manual are not good-sounding at all (again, from my point of view).
One thing that I would change in this pedal would be to have a single dry/wet knob, so as to be sure that the master volume would always stay the same, but then again, it's a matter of personal taste, you might find the need to use it as a level booster as well...

I've used this pedal for numerous songs of my own and I never get enough of it. The overall effect is spot on, however I find it hard to get a full sound out of it. Also one of the knobs is very stiff. Other than that, a very useful and versatile pedal in comparison to other envelope filters that I have tried.

But does it really need all of the knobs? It seems that only a small range of the settings result in a good sound.

The only thing wrong is not being able to memories different settings otherwise excellent pedal.
