Great pedal
Absolutely great pedal, bought this for a friend and it sounds amazing, he's been using it for a massive variety of own material and covers, give a great Van Halen tone for a very reasonable price, very tough and durable and has had no problems so far, the bright orange look make it noticeable on stage as well regardless of lighting, it doesn't glow in the dark but its easily seen, the switch is very easy to hit in a rush so no need to worry about it even if it does look small compared to the likes of boss pedals and similar, great pedal and works wonders, adding a great effect to my friends arsenal of pedals

Pretty straightforward
Great pedal. It nails the phaser tones from the 70s until today.
Naturally, it's a one knob pedal, so it is not very versatile if you want to shape your own sound. That being said, what you see is what you get with this pedal. If the Phase90 is a sound you like, it will not disappoint. The range goes from very slow (nice for a rhytm tone, or to add some mojo to your base sound) to very fast (takes over the sound, great if you're feeling experimental)
Other than that, this pedal is built like a tank and is still doing well

Magic and Essential
I love this pedal due to its classic simplicity - the sound takes you back to vintage Page, May and Van Halen. Robust and simple to operate it has classic warm analogue sounds. With some warm tube overdrive it is magnificent - Don't know how I lived without it for so long !

Sonic reducer...
We cover some punk classics in our set.. well... depending on how long we have.. always like to throw one in...
The deadboys sonic reducer being one such number... this pedal is the classic you need.
I prefer to front load it rather than place it in the effects loop...
I had been tempted to go with newer phasers that have more sculpting options but.. this does exactly what I want and expect and I don't need the headache of adjust test adjust test craic... I prefer to just play...

een klassieker , inderdaad
Een typisch effect. Heel simpel, enkel rate knop. Het geluid is mooi vergeleken met andere phaser pedalen. De modulatie is tamelijk aanwezig maar de vorm van de golven is complex en niet gewoon wahwahwah. Dit phaser-effect heeft wel weinig frequentie sweep over de golven heen zoals de small stone, of PH3 heb ik ontdekt. Het is ene specifiek phaser effect. In zijn genre waarschijnlijk de beste pedaal voor een goede prijs.

Excellent modern Phaser
The modern MXR Phase 90 phaser has a slightly stronger phase effect than the original script logo version. It works flawlessly but if you are after the classic sound from the seventies you should buy the re-issued script logo version which is also available from Thomann. A solid piece of equipment. Recommended.

Its A Phaser...
Theres a reason this is so popular, its simple and it makes the phaser noise.
Would it be nice to have more control of the modulated sound and the wave? Yes. Is this still a great pedal? Yes.

MXR Phase 90
The MXR phase 90 is the one pedal I have used continually since I first purchased back in 2006 and it has never let me down. The pedal now shows some signs of wear and tear and the case is a little scratched but this in no way affects the sound of the pedal.
Battery life is exceptional and whilst being a little tricky to change they do last a long time.
You can use an optional PSU (not included) and the pedal easily attaches to a pedal board. The small size means it does not take up a lot of room.
You get a large rubber knob cover so you can (with skill) adjust the effect level with your foot !.
Well worth the money.
Another cheap deal from Thomann.
