Good design with some issues
I bought several of these right angled connectors for a patch panel that is mounted on the front of a wheeled flightcase, the straight ones would stick out too far and I wanted to leave them connected when the front cover was on. They work well, a bit fiddly to solder due to the design but not too bad. One frustration is that once you have put the pin section into the metal housing, you can't get it out again - so make sure you solder them up before you do this! Also due to the design you can only set the plug up to some predefined angles - every 30 degress or so. No too much of a bit deal but worth bearing in mind if you have a specific need or limited space.

Angled for those tricky situations!
I've needed an angled XLR for ages! This was exactly what I needed and it works great! It really helps you get a microphone into those tricky areas of a recording session!
