Best combo jack I found but has room for improvement
BlackSpire 03.11.2020
Once wired and installed, it works like a charm as to be expected from Neutrik.

tl:dr
See that you have the right screws, about three times as much time for the soldering and shrink tubes to prevent accidental crosstalk.

Mounting:
Unfortunately they decided use a different mounting style (sliding in from the back) and a different screw socket with that all the non-combo sockets. So keep in mind that you'll need specific screws for this socket.

Wiring:
I guess if you're buying sockets, neutrik expects you to want to do the entire wiring yourself, and maybe there is a usecase where you'd want to wire the jack and xlr connectors ton different devices. I, however, would appreciate a combojack where the jack and xlr connectors are combined out of the box, as doing that yourself is tedious and increases the risk of faulty connections.

Versatile sockets, a must for a stage box
b.i.s.project 28.07.2020
Great offering from Neutrik, I always use them for stage boxes as they are the most versatile choice and turn Your stage box into a universal utility unit!

Just think about it - You have an option of plugging XLR male (outs) in it, but also You can plug TRS jacks - and TRS jacks could work both ways - euther in or out - so You can route the signal in any directions when using TRS jacks - that solves a lot of headache for me!

O
Neutrik quality

There isn't really much to say about this Neutrik sockets. The quality is exactly as you would expect it from Neutrik products. I've built a patch panel for my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and everything is working like a charm. Sockets contact is very good, both XLR and jacks fit perfectly so there is no noise or other unwanted clicks or hum if the soldering is done well. Considering their price this are a real bargain.

i used this female connector to build my own multicore. although it is made of plastic, quality is still great. there is no bridge on the back. so i had to solder my own to be able to use the connector for jack and XLR which was quite difficult. but for that price i would by them again and again.
