The classic jack
I have been using Neutrik jacks on all my cables for years. This is the classic 1/4" jack that you'll see everywhere. It's very high quality and extremely durable. I have never had a problem with Neutrik jacks, which I can't say for any other brand I've used previously. I use these straight jacks for my Mogami guitar cables and I like their big size because they are easy to grab and pull out of the guitar (with Strats it's sometimes difficult to pull out smaller jacks because of the angled output design). With Neutriks on my cables, I never fear a cable will die on me. It's nice to have that peace of mind when playing on stage. The signal is clean and strong, and notably better than with lower quality plugs. The Mogami+Neutrik combination is the way to go as far as I am concerned and I plan on using this for as long as it's available.

Best connectors
Quality as expected. Best connectors out there. Easily solderable and snug fit with socket, not like some cheap China madeoffs. Going to use those connector for making some guitar, keyboard and adapter cables.

Not the cheapest but 100% dependable
I bought these plug to solder some guitar cables using some bulk Van Damme cable. This particular cable works great with these plugs and making them was an easy DIY project even for a beginner like me. I've been using them on every gig for over 3 months now and I've not had a single problem yet, which is what you'd expect from the industry standard Neutrik name. Although they are certainly not the cheapest I got these as I need cables I can depend on in a live situation. There are cheaper alternatives out there but I'd recommend these for gigging musicians as the last thing you want to worry about on stage are your cables.

Top notch jack
An ultra high quality jack, built like a tank and easy to work with. It easily accepts the Sommer XXL cable (which is 6.8mm) and it's an excellent combination for very sturdy instrument cables.

Bang for the bucks
This straight mono jack from Neutrik is in my opinion a really good plug in metal housing, which can not break even under heavy load. The contacts can be soldered wonderful as on every Neutrik plug that i used in the past. Connector, is easy to handle, robust in handling.

Neutrik plugs, the best, the most reliable
I always use neutrik plugs for the studio, nothing else comes even close to the fine craftsmanship of Neutrik company products. Did once a mistake of using cheaper product with poor results. I always trust the neutrik plugs to carry their job for years even under heavy duty circumstances.
