This beauty arrived with minimal delay from Thomman, all good. It has a beautiful bright and full sound acoustically. When plugged in it is nice and clear with seemingly little or no noise. The controls allow for a good balance of tone. The built in tuner is a nice touch.
However, the frets, especially at the higher end, were rough, like they were finished with 80 grit sand paper so any note bend was more scratch sound than note bend. To deal with this I had to flatten all the frets, re-crown them and then polish smooth to a nice satin 1200 grit. I also lowered the action and adjusted the truss rod, it now plays lovely. The fit and finish was not great with some polishing compound still stuck in some frets and inlays. The is about a 1.2mm gap where the neck meets the binding that is filled with adhesive. There is also a 30mm crack in the finish near the bridge. This things are all well and good on a sub 200 euro guitar but not for a 500 euro guitar. The back of the head stock says 'Crafted in China', it wasnt crafted, it was manufactured. Overall a nice guitar because I could make it that and the sound is good. With regards to people saying they slide off your knee, I have no problem with this .
