Auch wenn man nichts über die Bansuri weiß, bringt man als Querflötist trotzdem einfach Töne und Melodien raus. Aber will man da stehen bleiben? Dieses Büchlein weist der Bansuri in der großen Musikwelt Indiens ihren Platz zu. Im Vorwort steht: Die Bansuri wurde schon von der SchöpferIn der Welt gespielt und immer wenn Sie spielte bewegte sich die Schöpfung weiter.
Und dann folgt auf 30 Seiten ein Überblick über die indische Musiktheorie, die komprimiert aber verständlich dargestellt wird. Indische Musik basiert auf Ragas, die wiederum auf Nadas, Shrutis, Swaras, Saptaka und Thaats basieren. (Laute, 22 Mikrointervalle in einer Oktave, 7 Hauptnoten, eine Oktave und Skalen) und dann werden doch noch technische Details zum Flötenspiel verraten. Unbedingt zur Bansuri dazukaufen. Ist es wert.
