These beaters are much more durable than the felts that ship with the Eliminator Demon Drive pedal, and they swap straight in and work really well.

They're a little expensive for what they are - and I've seen them sold for a lot more than they are on Thomann - but they are, in the end, the genuine article.

I had problems with them going through Roland mesh heads. As Roland's documentation warns, felt beaters are no good; the mesh rips them up and the dust gets inside the drum. Wood beaters are tough enough to slowly rip up the kevlar and go through. Worse, they'll also damage the felt pad behind the bass drum.

For acoustic drums, though, they're punchy and cool. And they look brilliant.
