Keeping my existing pedal going and feeling like new.

After 7 years use with the original part which came with the pedal, it eventually did break which required me to buy this.

The installation was very simple and made made the left side feel a lot smoother and like new.

Can't complain.

Genau das, was draufsteht

Ich habe mir die Eliminator Chain gekauft, da ich mir die Pearl Eliminator Doppelfußmaschine mit Bandantrieb gekauft hab. An diesen Antrieb konnte ich mich aber auch mit der Zeit nicht so richtig gewöhnen. Daher wollte ich auf Kette wechseln, da ich mit dieser Art Antrieb mehr Erfahrung habe. Eins vorweg: An der Verarbeitung gibt's nix zu meckern, alle Teile fühlen sich hochwertig an und die Ketten kommen mit allem Werkzeug, das man braucht, um den Antrieb an der Fußmaschine auszutauschen. Band gegen Kette auszutauschen ist auch für jemanden mit meinen beschränkten bis nicht vorhandenen handwerklichen Fähigkeiten ken problem und in wenigen Minuten zu erledigen.
Aber ich muss sagen: Das Spielgefühl unterscheidet sich meiner Ansicht nach kaum von Band- zu Kettenantrieb bei der Eliminator. Das mag auch meiner begrenzten Erfahrung geschuldet sein -- ich spiele erst seit knapp drei Jahren Drums. Aber ich aufgrund meiner Erfahrung nicht empfehlen, von Band auf Kette zu wechseln, wenn man ein anderes Spielgefühl sucht. Wer einfach eine in die Jahre gekommene Kette austauschen will, ist damit natürlich genau richtig bedient und wird über den Kauf auch wohl nicht lange nachdenken müssen.
