Sounds great any any tuning range. Great balance of snap and pop.
Responds very well to stick dynamics, and even with the snare wires relaxed, it never sounds too loose.

Great for hip-hop, reggae, drum n bass or funk.
Projects well for it's size, but something larger might be
better for un-mic'd rock gigs.
