Amazing rosin
I bought this rosin for my daughter's new bow. I was told that the rosin that comes in your violin case is usually rubbish and that a good quality rosin makes quite a difference for your bow, strings, and violin sound. So I desided to try the Pirastro goldflex . It really is much better than all the other rosins we used. Just a little amount on the bow hair is enough so it will last for a long time and to give a little more money for better quality rosin that lasts for years I think that is a good investment for the instrument .
This rosin has low dust formation so it will not damage your violin, bow or strings.
Package is quite nice with plastic base and tissue, so it is also very easy to handle.
I am very happy with my purchase and recommend to all violin players!

Smells lovely and works very well
You don't need to use much of this excellent rosin. It's not too dusty and helps the bow grip (which is of course the point of rosin). It's more expensive than the 'standard' rosin but since it will last you years, it is not a big investment compared to the improvement in power, tone and control.
Just like the other premium Pirastro rosin I have (the Oliv/Evah) this stuff smells amazing when you put it on the bow. This has a different smell to the Oliv/Evah which is resinous and musky - this smells like oranges to me... Lovely.
However, I don't know how much difference the gold flecks in this rosin make. This may be just a gimmick! It appears to work just as well the Oliv/Evah rosin and I think most players would not be able to tell the difference, and either would be a good choice.

NOTE the categories for the review are wrong - "Cleaning efficiency" and "protection" should not be used for Rosin

Excellent rosin, before that I used other Pirastro rosin, I read on the Internet that this rosin is better suited for our climate, and in general everyone praises it, and it also smells good :)
