Great but...

I tried these on my Engelhardt Bass M1. Usually, my sound is bright, even with Belcanto strings, which I used for five years. I think these strings are great for “cutting through the mix” in an orchestra. For solo playing, I will continue practicing and see if the timbre changes over time.
