They break

Great cable but I've had 4 or 5 over the years and they all break. The soft rubber Jack's just dont hold up under stress. When they break I swap in a neutrik jack and keep using the cable.

So far, so good : a good, solid, quite rigid instrument cable, and reasonnably priced at that. Can't tell how long it'll last but it's much better quality than the low cost Planet Waves cable it replaces.
