This cable is actually manufactured by Sommer (nice surprise). It's also quite thick. The phono connectors sold by Thomann (also very good) fit it well but may others won't. I bought it to replace broken cable on a pair of Technics SL1200 turntables and for this it works very well. The thickness does make it difficult to get through the opening in the bottom of the turntable though.

This cable would also be suitable for wiring additional amplifiers into a car audio system. The group wire could be used as a remote trigger wire for the amplifier.

Order arrived promptly and was surprised on the quality given the price. Thickness of cable and shielding (inc foil shield) is great and easy to strip and solder. Came in snazzy blue colour too!

Ideal para aplicaciones con tocadiscos el cable tiene una sección exterior bastante ancha lo cual puede ser un problema a la hora de mecanizar según en qué sitio.
De todas maneras la construcciones es robusta e increíble lo mucho que reduce el rudido en comparación con los cables que traen de serie los tocadiscos, incluso los de gama alta.
El que traiga cable de masa incorporado no deja de ser una ventaja.
Un precio más que razonable para un producto que mejora sensiblemente la calidad del equipo sin irse a "fantasías para audiófilos" ni chorradas para tirar el dinero.

Die Isolation sondert einen widerlichen Gestank ab, auch nach einem Jahr Lagerzeit im Keller! Beim Abisolieren zeigt sich das Schirmgeflecht aus Kupfer dunkelbraun bis schwärzlich verfärbt, die Spuren des Weichmachers und anderer aggressiver Bestandteile der Isolation sind für beschleunigte Oxidation verantwortlich. Der Kupferschirm ist lückenhaft, dafür ist der Aluschirm komplett abdeckend. Langzeitstabil sieht anders aus. Ich wollte 4 x 6,3 mm Klinkenstecker anschlagen, um ein elektrisches Cembalo in Stereo anzuschließen, aber als ich die oxidierten Außenleiter gesehen habe, und dann an meinen Händen roch, hab ich mich entschlossen, es einfach zu entsorgen und mich somit aller Probleme und des Geruchs zu entledigen. Ich würde empfehlen, es aus dem Programm zu nehmen, das ist kein Verlust. Ich werde statt dessen ordentliche Instrumentenkabel-Meterware zu verwenden.
