DAT snare
I swapped my old snares with these on my Yamaha recording custom brass snare, and it made all the difference in the world. Now the snare sounds propper. It is rich-sounding and ghost notes really stick out more than they used to. Would recommend!!!

Really Good
A seemingly simple product that can make a huge difference. I will buy the same product without hesitation as I have gotten a great, great sound on my 14x6,5 Yamaha Custom Snare (UK made) with wooden hoops.

I mean, it's puresound, what do you expect?
Great quality and sound, you can't really get better snare wires than pure sounds out there anyway, so go off.

essential for a good versatile snare
I had this product since i started drumming and i have to admit that this sound satisfies me the most since 2010. it is why i recommend this to any player that needs a full and rich tone out of their snare. good for any kind of musical style, from pop to rock, metal to jazz. it is all a matter of taste but for me, it made the snare sound awesome. go get it!

3rd time's a charm!
I've been trying to find my sound on a 14x6.6 pearl freefloater, after originally having the extended snare wires as recommended I wasn't happy, then I switched to standard length snare wires and it was much better but THESE are just next level. as a lover of ghost notes the definition is just soooooo crispy! I love it!

30 WIres!
Great product! first time i purchased puresound snare wires and it didn't disappoint.
I was restoring a Sonor snare 14X6,5 without wire so i had one in storage with 20 wires and the snare sounded flat, so i bought this one to experiment and the snare just turned into a beast!
Great response from the wire, cool buzz and great impact. I'm really happy with this. It's just mindblowing what just a few wires can do to a snare.

Big and responsive Snare!
If you?re missing some responsiveness, sensibility and overall that full snare sound, get this.
My snare was a bit dry to my taste, and lacked some sensibility. This solved the issue, and it sounds great now!

Good snare wire choice.
A 30-wire strainer is a good compromise between snare tonal-depth and lightness; any more and it becomes too suited towards rock music, any less and it starts to sound like every other high quality strainer. Puresound have been receiving rave reviews, and it's hard to judge whether they truly are head and shoulders above the rest, or if it's just a placebo effect, but having tried this particular model, I am pleased with the sound. One thing I can state as fact is that, aesthetically, these strainers look beautiful with their bronzed plates and well-crafted wires. A solid choice. If you're willing to pay for them, they should last you a long time.

My go to snare wires!
Ive always used these on my snare drums because of there articulation, attack and overall snare presence. top notch craftsmanship in the soldering of the butt plates to the snare wires and they come with some pre-cut nylon cords to attach them with. can't go wrong for less them £30!

Great!
Its great to have this option ... 20 strands are not enough for me, and 42 strands are far too many in my opinion. Makes your snare very crisp!
