The only strings you'll ever need for a Rickenbacker!
I needed to replace the strings on my Ricky 12 string guitar and was looking at the various manufacturers who produced such sets. I've tried a few other string brands but after a bit of research found that the Pyramids are the de-facto strings for a Rickenbacker. Previously I found that nickel-wound strings were a little 'zingy' but using the flat-wounds gives you that Rickenbacker jangly tone that you hear on records etc.
I'll be using flat-wounds from onwards. Yes, they are a little more expensive but I can assure you that they will be worth it!

Fantastic!
Been looking for a set of these for months! if you have an electric 12 string guitar you need these strings! The harsh bright sounds of the octave strings on an electric 12 can easily be removed with these strings, warm, smooth and still have the perfect amount of jangle! the strings didn't take long to settle and if they're anything like my flat wound bass strings they will last forever as well! I cannot see me ever using a different brand in my life! the next time I order I will be stocking up on these without a doubt!

That sound...
I have been playing a Ricky 12 in a '60s cover band for years, but was never totally happy with my sound. The old Byrds songs have a certain 12-string sound and the new Rickenbacker own brand strings just don't do it. After Googling around, I found a guy who raved about these strings and was pleased to find that Thomann stocked them. Yes, they're expensive but couple these with a Jangle Box compressor and it's that sound you've always craved.

Great tone and feel
Actually used these for two guitars. One as standard tuning. One as Nashville. Great for me to get two sets for one price! I had a twelve strings years ago. I always used these then too.

THE strings for authentic '60s sound
Whether you're fortunate enough to be playing a Rickenbacker (which I once was) or just a Danelectro (which I have now), flats are an important and often overlooked part of the '60s 12-string sound, and these are the best. Expect to go through a few of the octave G-string, which thankfully is easily replaced with a standard .010 E-string from any set. Great sounding, long-lasting, high-quality strings.

good sounding strings
Consistently excellent quality from Pyramid.
Pyramid strings are too often under appreciated, because they're comparatively inexpensive. The plain strings - IMHO - are the best sounding plains on the market, regardless of price and brand. And the wound strings are as good as anything. Highly recommended.

Best Strings in the world.
The Pyramid Gold Nickel Flat-wound strings are the best strings you can buy for a semi acoustic 12 string guitar, used and recommended by professionals and I love them.
