Fell ist vorgedämpft, somit kann auch das Bassdrumreso (als welches ich es einsetze) keine ungewünschten Obertöne erzeugen. Resonierend gestimmt verleiht es einer Bassdrum ordentlichen "Druckzuwachs" und ist somit ein großer Gewinn für Gigs, bei denen man auf Mikrophonierung verzichten muss. Schön auch, dass der Ring zum Schneiden des Mikrophonlochs schon im Preis enthalten ist.

Das einzige, was evtl. als störend empfunden werden könnte, ist das REMO-Signet, welches doch verhältnismäßig groß auf dem Fell prangt. Wer hier ein komplett schwarzes Fell zum freien Gestalten erwartet, sollte sich noch einmal Gedanken machen.

Davor hatte ich eine altes Remo CS fell. Mit dem CS war ich sehr unzufrieden weil es einfach keinen klang hatte es war so als würde man auf einen Karton schlagen -> Kein klang, kein Booom dabei, keine kraft, kein gefühlt. Beim Powerstroke hingegen ist es genau das gegenteil, es hat klang, man kann Gefühl rein bringen. Es hat denn richtigen Boom für mich. und mit dem mitgelieferten "Dynamo Ring" kann man noch dem Booom eine entweihung geben. :) Einfach ein Gutes Fell :)
