A good enough BD skin - good for rehearsal room kits, seems solid enough. I found the sound quite bright , but it may be only seemed like that in comparison to the old skin it replaced ! Have also recorded with this and the attack was usable adding some punch and definition to the sound. Of course it can be damped to taste. For the price it's just fine.

Reliable bass head. Worth using an extra pad to extend its life. Great value. No need to get anything more expensive if your bass drum itself is decent.
