I found this skin wore out fairly quickly but it sounded very nice while it was fresh.
Very crisp tone and a benefit of the colour is that if you're the sort not to mind the wear so much, it doesn't show quite as obviously as it might on a white head.

gelungenes Rock-Fell

Ich habe mir dieses Snare-Fell gezielt wegen dem versprochenen rockigen Sound bestellt und wurde auch nicht enttäuscht.

Aufbringen und Spannen ging ohne Probleme und optisch macht es natürlich auch einiges her.

Auch die Doppelschicht, die die Obertöne reduzieren soll, ist wunderbar. So hat das Fell einen schönen Attack, ohne vom Ton her zu sehr nach oben auszubrechen. In Verbindung m it dem an der Unterseite angebrachten Filzkreis ist ein separates Feintuning des Felles fast überflüssig geworden. Lediglich leichte Korrekturen über einen Gel-Damper musste ich vornehmen.

Ich b in von diesem Fell sehr begeistert und kann es allen, die eher im etwas härteren Bereich unterwegs sind, wärmstens empfehlen.

déçu du son que j'obtiens, son fort et bof,
rebond difficile lourd et baveux,comparé à d'autres peaux, peau très résistante,
j'ai changé également mon timbre que je peux mettre en doute,
je suis sur une caisse claire tama qui sonnait mieux avec la peau ,et le timbre d'origine à mon goût,
son qui peu peut etr convenir à du hard rock ou du métal, mais pas pour du jazz, de la bossa nova....

Ich bin ja eher Evans-Fan, aber für meine Ddrum Hybrid-Snare habe ich mir mal dieses Fell zugelegt, da ich bei Evans kein adäquates 13"-Fell gefunden habe.
Die Bewertung ist insofewrn mit Vorsicht zu genießen, da beim Ddrum Hybrid-Set die Trigger ja am Fell anliegen und dadurch von Haus aus das Fell schon dämpfen, aber ich bin von dem trockenen und knackigen Sound absolut begeistert, vor allem weil ich das Original Reso noch draufhab, was als werkseitig geliefertes Fell nicht unbedingt der Bringer ist. Beide Felle sind in der gleichen Höhe gestimmt, der Sustain ist bei meiner Snare recht kurz, kommt aber meinem Soundgefühl entgegen.
Von meiner Seite aus absolut empfehlenswert, aber sicher nicht jedermanns Sache - wie auch, jeder hört anders und will seinen speziellen Sound.
