8-zone wireless PA distribution

The RF Venue RF PA Extension 8-Pack pairs the same 1RU dual-channel transmitter as the standard PA Kit with eight single-channel receivers in a single box, scaling the wireless PA system up to multi-zone deployments without any change to the underlying signal path and workflow. Each receiver mounts directly to a satellite speaker and outputs the audio locally, replacing what would otherwise be eight separate cable runs across a venue, festival site, or campus. Audio travels via analogue FM stereo in the 470–506MHz UHF band, sitting outside the spectrum used by wireless mics and IEMs so the system doesn't fight for room with the rest of the RF rig. Range is around 100m line-of-sight on the supplied half-wave antennas, with field reports of 100m+ through brick walls and over 130m in the open with the optional CP Beam antenna.

Two channels, eight outputs

The transmitter takes balanced combo inputs at line level and broadcasts two channels of audio – stereo or two independent mono feeds – to all eight receivers simultaneously. Each receiver runs True Diversity reception for stable signal across reflections and obstructions, and chooses locally between the stereo mix or either mono channel. This way, a single deployment can mix L/R PA in some zones with mono announcement feeds in others. Hardwired audio pass-throughs leave the wired signal path intact even when the transmitter is powered down – useful where the wireless link sits alongside an existing installation. Per-receiver delay of up to 800ms allows satellite speakers to be time-aligned with the main PA. Group, channel, RF and AF metering, sync ID and delay are on each receiver's LCD, and switchable 10/50mW transmitter power keeps the system compliant with regional regulations.

Who, what, where

The 8-Pack suits production companies, larger houses of worship, campuses, hotel and hospitality groups, and event installers covering distributed PA across multiple rooms, outdoor zones, or festival sites in a single deployment. The practical limitation at this scale is the transmitter's remote-sync ceiling: Five receivers can be synced over the air from the front panel, and the remaining three are tuned manually at the receiver itself. In practice this is a five-minute task at install and rarely revisited, but it's worth knowing about before the rack goes in. For deployments under five receivers, the RF PA Extension Kit covers the same ground with two receivers and a clear path to expansion via single RF PA RX4 add-on receivers as zones grow.

About RF Venue

Established in 2009, RF Venue is an American brand specialising in reliable wireless audio transmission. Their slogan, "Confident Wireless in Any Environment," reflects their commitment to perfecting wireless microphone and in-ear monitoring systems. By developing proprietary antenna designs, RF Venue has addressed common wireless issues such as signal dropouts and interference. Their products are user-friendly, enabling beginners to work confidently with wireless systems while providing experienced technicians with professional-grade solutions. The product range includes RF antennas, combiner and distributor modules, filters, and spectrum tools, making RF Venue a comprehensive provider for wireless audio needs.

Deploy across the venue

Each of the eight receivers ships with mounting screws and hook-and-loop tape that attach directly to the loudspeaker cabinet, alongside a 12V DC supply and a mini-XLR to XLR cable. The transmitter ships with two half-wave UHF antennas, BNC pass-through panel mounts, and an AC cable. The pass-through panel mounts let the transmitter sit permanently in-line with an existing wired feed – useful in installed rigs where the wireless link is an addition, not a replacement. Receivers are IP54-rated, offering protection against dust and splashing water for everyday outdoor conditions. At 365×70×30mm and 454g per receiver, the eight units pack down small enough for transport between events, making the RF Venue PA Extension 8-Pack as suitable for permanent multi-zone installs as for touring rigs using the same speaker layout at each venue.
