Note that 5 cm is the length of free cable. It's 10 cm from jack to jack with cable fully extended.
This said it isn't very flexible, it is relatively hard to push the two connectors back to back (for minimum distance between pedals). Not sure how long this cable would last if forced in that position on a pedalboard. The EBS PCF-DL10 (10 cm cable, 14 cm jack-jack) is easier to bend - at double the cost.

Does the Job
I ordered a mix of sizes of the Rockboard flat patch cables for my recent board build. The flat sides allow for pedals to sit closer together for snug boards.
5cm are great for linking pedals beside each other.
10cm are great for matching side with top inputs.
20cm are great for branching between top and bottom rows.

Good patch cable
Used in guitar pedal setup. Good plugs, but a little stiff cable.

Top notch
These cables are awesome. You can bend and twist them without any problem. That's the best you can expect from a patch cable: no problems, no noise, no apparent signal loss. Also, being so thin, they save you those precious centimeters of expensive real estate in your pedalboard.
I only read reviews from other users after ordering these, and got a bit concerned after reading about so many cases of faulty units. But I have a dozen in my pedalboard for 3 or 4 months and have yet to have any problem with them. If these cables were available in sizes like 7 cm and 12 cm (in between the available sizes of 5, 10 and 15 cm), I would buy.

The Rockboard flat patch 5cm is a great budget cable
There are definitely better connector cables out there. But I've been using these Rockboard cables on my effects pedals for over two months during jams with friends and home rehearsals. And these tidy Rockboard cables work fine and they're not noisy. The flat connectors helped me free up some space on my pedalboard without spending a lot of money. Great value gear, IMO.

Nice cable!
Very good and reliable cable for the money. It actually saves pedalboard space, with the new cable i was able to fit one more pedal. They don't alter the sound in any way. I have been using them for 2 years so far and they did not fail yet. Highly recommended!

Great space saver
I wanted to add a pedal to my nano pedal board. Would not be possible without them. The flat patch cables saved the space needed to fit everything. Have them on for a while now, working great.

It's a patch cable
A little more rigid than other patch cables I had (especially if you want it to make a tight U curve) but it works well.

Ideal for a crowded pedalboard
Perfect length and connector type if you need to connect pedals very close to each other and they have their in-outs at their sides.
Good quality and flexible, don't seem as reliable as more expensive ones.
