I bought this Rogers snare bed to overhaul and restore and Rogers Dyna-Sonic 14x5 snare that I have owned for twenty years. When I bought the snare the original clock face strainer and snare beds were already missing. Together with the clock face strainer, this Rogers snare bed have vastly improved the sound--the snare sounds much fuller, punchier and has much better tone than before! In my opinion, this snare bed is the secret sauce behind the Rogers Dyna-Sonic snare sound, it's a very important factor.
I am so happy that the new owners are respecting the Rogers legacy and have recommenced with production of spare parts with the same quality as before.

Ich habe mir etwas großartiges gegönnt, indem ich das Dynasonic Snare Rail-System an meiner Kirchhoff Acryl-Snare nachgerüstet habe. Mich hat der normale Snare-Mechanismus immer gestört - entweder funkig und hart, oder weich und "raschlig", aber niemals beides.
Mit dem Dynasonic Snare Rail gibt es endlich die Funktionen dieser legendären Snares für jedes andere Modell. Einfach den Bottom Hoop und die Rail Unit nachrüsten. Leider nicht ganz billig, aber für mich jeden Cent Wert.
Die einzelnen Wires sind nicht absolut perfekt auf Linie, ich musste mit der Zange ein, zwei manuell begradigen, um einen leichten Buzz zu vermeiden. Und man muss sich natürlich in das richtige Setup etwas einfuchsen - gibt jedoch gute Videos hierfür im Internet.
Wer sich damit beschäftigen will und seine Snare (gleich wie qualitativ hochwertig) nochmal ordentlich soundtechnisch pimpen will, der kann das hiermit zur Genüge tun.
