It really is extremely quiet

I wanted to switch out my PD-8 pads with mesh pads to reduce noise when I saw this new type of pad. Difference between PD-8 and PDQ-8 is huge in terms of noise emission. They feel good and it's more enjoyable to play them as you hear only the drum module sound and not banging against the wood board.
Even compared to mesh PDX-8 pad these are significantly more quiet, so if you are looking to reduce noise this is the way to go.

Wenn es tatsächlich leise sein soll

Üben ohne Lärm? Roland hat es mit dieser Neuentwicklung tatsächlich geschafft, ein wirklich sehr sehr leises Pad auf den Markt zu bringen.
Herkömmlich Practice-Pads haben einen gewissen Geräuschpegel. Und auch die bisherigen, herkömmlichen Meshhead-Pads können noch ordentlich Krach machen.
Dieses Pad ist dagegen ein Gamechanger. Das leiseste überhaupt. Und ich habe schon viel gestestet, auch Eigenbau usw.. Aber so leise wie dieses Pad kann es kein anderes.
Es funktioniert mit den neuen Roland-Modulen, die dafür ein Update bekommen haben. Ich nutze es mit einem TD-07 und das funktioniert super.
Zwei Punkte habe ich bei der Bespielbarkeit abgezogen, weil es sich im Gegensatz zu den Standard-Meshheads doch ein wenig anders spielt. Der Rebound ist nicht ganz so ausgeprägt und das Spielgefühl ist leicht anders.
Aber zum leisen üben ist das für mich ausreichend und ok. Der große Vorteil ist halt, dass es absolut leise ist.
