A really nice quality stringing wire. I work with a wide range of stringed instruments, this being the first time I've strung a psaltery. I found the Romana wire good to work with and with minimal adjustment when the string was up to pitch. I like it.

Ich habe diese Rolle Psalter-Saite für das "Thomann Europe Soprano Psaltery D1004" gekauft. Da an diesem Instrument die hohen Saiten schwer zu stimmen sind liegt zwischen den Zuständen "schlecht" und "gut" gestimmt sowie "gerissen" nur ein schmaler Grad. Das Ende dieser Gradwanderung war für mich gerade zu Beginn als Anfänger häufiger mal der Zustand "gerissen".
Diese Saiten sind hochwertig und generell langlebig. Die Klangfarbe entspricht der der Original-Saiten.
Um die C-Saite am "Thomann Europe Soprano Psaltery D1004" (die längste Saite) zu ersetzen benötigt man ca. 45cm Saite, somit ließe sich diese allein mit dieser Rolle ~26mal ersetzen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist somit aus meiner Sicht mehr als in Ordnung.
Zur Abtrennung der benötigten Saitenlänge empfehle ich einen Saitenschneider oder eine scharfe Zange.
