Rubner classical machines.
These tuning machine heads were chosen to replace the original set on my La Patrie Motif parlour classical. After looking at many possible alternatives, I settled my decision on these, and can honestly say that I have no regrets whatsoever about the choice made. As a retired engineer, the quality of construction impresses me, the mounting plates are plain brass, quite substantial and very nicely finished, the gears appear well cut and are smooth in operation, and I would, if needed, have no hesitation in using these again. The faux MOP heads handle well, and although these are fixed and non interchangeable, again are exactly as expected. Altogether completely satisfactory.

Excellent Rubner tuners
Definitely recommend. These are great. They feel good, look good, they're sensitive, smooth and perhaps a personal thing but I prefer the Hauser style and also the fact that they have a plain, very shiny finish.
I have used them to replace the basic tuners fitted to a reasonable quality entry level instrument from a reputable maker and I prefer them to the tuners fitted to my other guitar, which is at the modest end of being a rather nice instrument.

Great value.
Very pleased with these tuners. I particularly like the simplicity of the design. Not a fan of highly engraved fanciness. Bought these for a restoration project. The quality of the guitar did not call for a top of the range set of tuners but still required something above average. These fitted the bill perfectly. Highly recommend.
