I have owned and played many Sabians, these just are top notch.
So crisp and the chick is defined.
Different levels of finish make a difference,feels like 3 hats in 1.
Surface is rough nearer the bell which wasn't expected but adds to the mystery.
Mixture of dark but bright with wonderful overtones.
Think AA,AAX,HHX with a bit of accelerator mmmm
Very nice indeed, a 13" pair would be nice.

Ich habe lange überlegt, welche HiHat ich mir zulegen soll. Als ich diese erspähte, fiel die Entscheidung nicht mehr so schwer.

Man kann die HiHat sehr filigran spielen aber auch super laut ohne viel Kraft reinzulegen. Sie setzt sich durch dank des klaren Klangs. Trotz der schnellen Ansprache sind die Scheiben für mein Empfinden echt belastbar und nicht so hauchdünn, wie man annehmen möchte. Top und Bottom sind bei diesem Modell übrigens identisch.

Die Glocke mit dem groben Finish macht echt was her und gibt auch einen guten Klang für gelegentliche Highlights her. Stilistisch kann man die HiHat sicher vielseitig einsetzen, mir hat sie beim Üben im Pop/Rock/Death Metal immer gut gefallen.

Für diesen Preis ist es eine unschlagbar geile Investition ins Kit.

Ich habe diese Hi-Hat jetzt seit vier Jahren und habe mich vorher durch verschiedene Modelle Namenhafter Hersteller getestet, aber die Free Hat waren mit Abstand das beste.
Sie klingen sehr ausgewogen, ohne das eine Frequenz besonders hervorsticht. Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist, dass sie auch im leisten spiel ordentlich klingen und nicht wie ein Kuchenblech.
Die Free Hats sind derzeit mein einiges Hi-Hat Paar. Alle anderen sind verkauft, da ich mit den Hats sowohl Pop Rock Jazz bedienen kann.

War lange auf der Suche nach einer neuen Hi-Hat; schlussendlich ist es die AAX Freq Hi-Hat geworden.
Crisper und warmer Sound, klasse Bell-Sound!

Die Hi-Hat ist sehr durchsetzungsstark, aber nicht zu stechend im Klang! Ich hatte beispielsweise die Sabian V-Hats im Vergleich, doch diese ist für meinen Geschmack schon zu durchsetzungsstark und harmonisiert nicht so gut mit dem gesamten Drumset wie die Freq-Hi-Hat.

Meine Empfehlung: Bestellen und verlieben!
