For my personal taste is great, sound is a bit on a darker side, but not too much. I use it for pop/funky repertoire, however if you play hardrock - it can be too quiet.

Fast cuting sound, low frequency and crisp. Fantastic body texture matches perfect with AAX Medium Hats, and any kind of music, special latin, funky and pop (Rock too, but needs more volume, may be a bit quiet for rock)

This is an amazing cymbal, it has the perfect splash sound for me and has held up very well. Ive had this cymbal for nearly 2 years and its still not broke. Would definitely recommend.

Vor dem Kauf einer neuen Beckenserie habe ich mich viel umgehört und mir Gedanken zu Qualität und passendem Sound gemacht. Erleichtert wurde mir der Kauf dieser Serie durch Soundbeispiele auf der Sabian Seite. Mittlerweile spiele ich meine Becken seit ca. einem Jahr und bin vollkommen zufrieden. Das Sabian AAX 08" Splashbecken hat trotz seiner Größe einen sehr durchdringenden Sound und macht jeden Drummer glücklich.

Bedenken hatte ich anfangs bei der geringen Dicke des Beckens. Es machte den Anschein, dass es nicht sehr lang halten würde. Obwohl ich eher kraftvoll und laut spiele macht das Becken nicht mal den Anschein, dass das Material in irgendeiner Weise nachgeben könnte.

Der Preis von 105€ erscheint anfangs sehr hoch für so ein kleines Becken, doch man muss sagen, dass es seinen Preis voll und ganz wert ist. Es ist vielseitig einsetzbar, egal ob Metal, Rock, Pop oder Reggae, daher kann ich den Kauf nur empfehlen.
