Kwaliteitvolle all-round basgitaar. Klinkt vooral heel vol en krachtig met het Humbuckerelement en iets minder uitgesproken met het element in single coil modus (dmv de switchknop).
Meestal gebruik ik de bas in passieve modus met beide elementen. Dan klinkt het instrument heel open. De bediening is dan dezelfde als van een passieve Jazz Bass: de treble functioneert hierbij als de toonknop en de basregelaar is dan inactief. In actieve stand kan treble- en basregeling voor heel uitgesproken klanken zorgen. De klank is echter niet zoals van een Jazz Bass of een Stingray maar is eerder iets tussenin met een eigen, iets moderner karakter. Goed voor alle muziekstijlen. De afwerking is perfect. Het instrument was bij levering zeer goed afgesteld. De actie is laag, ook de intonatie klopt. De halskromming is ook ok. De stemsleutels zijn licht en werken precies. De verwerking van de bestelling en de levering door Thomann gebeurden vlot. Top! Het allergrootste opvallende punt: de basgitaar is in vergelijking met mijn Squier Classic Vibe bassen superrrlicht. Een plezier om op te spelen. Aanrader voor lefties die een professionele bagitaar willen aanschaffen die niet in het duurste prijzensegment zit !!
