Buon basso ma non eccellente

Strumento dal peso non eccessivo (poco meno di 4 kg) e molto equilibrato sia a tracolla che da seduto, grazie anche alle ottime meccaniche ultra light. Molto buona la liuteria, anche se non la definirei eccellente, ho provato delle tastiere che consentono un action più bassa di questa (che comunque è buona). Il pau ferro della tastiera è un legno un pò secco che ho dovuto idratare con lemon oil subito dopo l'acquisto. Il basso all'arrivo montava corde piuttosto light (non so di che marca) che ho immediatamente cambiato con una muta D'addario 045-105.
Inoltre all'arrivo il pick up al ponte era notevolmente allentato e ho dovuto metterlo a posto e regolarlo (non me lo sarei mai aspettato da un Sandberg!). L'elettronica Sandberg è di qualità molto buona, sia il preamp che i pick up. E' utilizzabile sia in configurazione attiva che passiva e la configurazione dei pick up permette una notevole varietà di suoni.
Non aspettatevi tuttavia una fedele simulazione di un music man utilizzando l'humbucker al ponte.
Il basso viene consegnato con una gig bag leggera ma non particolarmente robusta.
