One of the best classical guitar strings
I've been using Savarez string for more than 10+ years and that's because it's made of high quality. The sound is superb and the touch of the string when playing (especially classical) is like no other. The sustain is good, tension is perfect, and you just can't go wrong with these strings.
I've used it all throughout my music university days, concerts, teaching, everything!
Pros: tone, tension, quality
Cons: none
Don't hesitate to buy them!

Very very good strings
I wouldn't call myself an expert on nylon strings, but these immediately seemed a big step up from the other brands I was using before.

Savarez 540R Alliance
As a luthier I equip all my classical guitars with Savarez 540R Alliance strings. The three bass strings are on a par with the best products of other quality string manufacturers like d'addario or augustine. Where the Savarez 540R Alliance stand out are the treble strings which sound brilliant and clear. Especially the G-string which usually sounds a bit dull in other string sets sounds as lively as the B- and E-string. The only criticism I sometimes get from some customers is that the treble strings feel a little bit on the thin side but I think that is rather a matter of taste then a real fault. The string are a touch on the expensive side but they are well worth it.

Great tone clarity and volume
I found a huge difference right away after changing to these strings from my stock strings. Sound clarity, tone differentiation as well as crispness of each note was incredible. Would be interesting to see how long they last as I play flamenco style & I am usually very hard on the string with the rasgueados.

Strong and bright but a little thin
Great set with strong and bright sound. Well suited for cedar top guitars that like inflexible strings to perform.

The non-plus ultra guitar strings
The Savarez Alliance Red have been my strings of choice for all my years of Conservatory till now. Nice warm sound with a brilliant "punch", they match perfectly with light spruce tops delivering a malleable sound, very sensitive to the interaction with the nails.
They tend to lose brilliance after about a week of intensive playing and sweaty fingers and are a bit too "sharp" the first couple of days. Great concert strings

Savarez alliance are still the best
As a classical guitar teacher of 16 years, I've tried lots of brands of string. The composite alliance strings are superior to nylon in my experience, and whether you choose the high tension or the medium, the sound is hard to beat.
