Bin extra zu Thomann gefahren, um "meine" Cajon auszusuchen. Wichtig ist mir die Klangvielfalt bei diesen "Kastenschlagzeugen" - und da hat die Schlagwerk CP 4006 Night Burl alles geboten, was ich gesucht habe - und ich habe (fast) alle ausprobiert (bei Thomann stehen ca. 50 Cajons zum Ausprobieren bereit)! Auf der Klangplatte volle runde Basssounds und klare Snare-Sounds mit deutlichen Unterschieden je nach Anschlagsstelle. Das Dämpfen mit dem Fuß (Schuhe aus-, frische Socken anziehen!) liefert weitere neue (und interessante) Klänge. Der helle, scharfe Sound der Seitenteile (!) kontrastiert wundervoll zur Schlagplatte und wird von mir oft eingesetzt. Man kann mit dieser Cajon zu allen Musikstilen mitgrooven (irgendeine Stelle liefert den gewünschten Klang - ausprobieren!). Die Cajon ist etwas niedriger gebaut als der Standard (Höhe 44cm). Ich denke, dass dies die Klangvielfalt unterstützt, da die Seitenteile dadurch heller klingen. Die mitgelieferte schwarze Sitzmatte macht das Sitzen angenehm und man erhält dadurch außerdem noch einen bequemen Hocker, wenn's mal wieder eng wird mit den Sitzplätzen ;-)

...so fangen alle großen Geschichten an.
Meine Geschichte beginnt damit, dass ich unbedingt ein Cajon haben wollte um damit in verschiedenen Gemeinden mitzuspielen.
Nach langer verzweifelter Suche, welches denn nun ein geeignetes Cajon für mich wäre, wanderte ich Stunden, Tage, Wochen im Internet umher um endlich den Schatz meines Herzens zu finden.
ALs ich dann einsam, in dunkler Nacht vor meinem PC saß erinnerte ich mich an die "Großen Weisen" bei Thomann. Also habe ich mir die Produktvideos angesehen, immer und immer wieder. Mit jedem Mal grenzte ich dadurch die Auswahl ein und bestellte mir letztendlich von Schlagwerk mein NIGHT BURL Cajon.

Ich finde den Bass sehr gut und durchsetzend, der Snaresound lässt sich auch individuell bis zu einem gewisse Punkt verändern. Will ich aber nicht, denn der klingt auch so sehr gut. Ebenso sitze ich dank mitgelieferter Sitzunterlage aus Moosgummi bequemer als andere...

Optisch ist das Cajon ebenfalls eine Augenweide, aber das sieht man auf dem Foto. Bilder sagen da mehr als 1000 Worte ...

Ich sitze jetzt also des Abends auf meinem Cajon und über fleissig und mit Vollgenuss. Meine Frau findet dan Klang auch gut und schön, sonst hätte sie mich schon längst in den Keller geschickt zum spielen.

So stell ich mir eine gute Dreiecksbeziehung vor...
