Great product - weak neck.

I love these mallets. They look and feel great. With a really balanced weight to them.

The end of life for all my sets has been the same though. The neck has cracked a few centimetres beneath the head. Fair enough - I've had them for two years now, and they have seen some heavy use (up to 15 hours a week with children, nurseries and special needs groups). It's just such a shame as everything about them is really nice quality (I love the look and feel of them) aside from their predictable demise.

If you're buying these for yourself, you can't go far wrong. They're lovely and will reward you for years to come. If you're sharing them around and not supervising, don't be surprised to see one of the necks break and a loose head bounce across the room.

Very good mallets

I use these mallets with my handpan, thus I want them to be very very gentle and still expressive, and I'm happy with these ones: well balanced, semi soft, good looking. Should be used gently though anyways.

Perfekt für HAPI Drum

Ich habe sie für eine HAPI Drum gekauft und der Sound ist wirklich perfekt.

Nicht zu mulmig / resonant wie mit anderen Schlägeln und mit feinem höhenbetonterem Attack ohne jedoch die Wärme im Sound zu verlieren, so wie es mit fast allen anderen Mallets der Fall ist.

Die Länge und das Gewicht sind auch sehr gut.

Einzig und allein war bei einem der Mallets der Gummikopf etwas "schief" drauf. Das sieht man besonders gut, wenn man ihn dreht, dann eiert er stark, aber ich nehme mal an, dass das einfach "Pech" ist, weil der andere ist perfekt.

Daher "nur" 4 Punkte bei der Verarbeitung.
